A Paranormal Birthday Giveaway

Yes, come on in and join the party!

To celebrate my birthday in an appropriate book lover way, I rounded up some fellow indie authors and friends to organize a nice Paranormal Birthday Giveaway.
A BIG thanks to Leanne, Amy and Lilou for their support
and for sharing their books with us.

As for the giveaway...

We're offering an ebook bouquet of paranormal delights to 3 happy winners, which will include an ecopy of:

and a copy of my own Ivory Guard

Yes, you read right, 4 books for each lucky winner!!!

Look what came in the post today...

*Squee*, I received my first postcard and parcel here in Ireland...and it's not even my birthday yet!

Item number one, a postcard from Ghent, Belgium...from the wonderful, book-blogging Maryline (M's Bookshelf), saying that Ivory Guard (The Guard Duet #1) is still haunting her, but in a good way she assures me. :)
Thanks Maryline!
I loved your BDay Giveaway. Giveaways are always a great opportunity to spread the word...and the books. :)

Item number two, a parcel from TheBookDepository containing these three delights. Yay!

Facing Shadows vs Ebony Fight - The Winner is...

urm...*scratching my head* ...I wish I knew.
Apparently you're as undecided as I am since the poll ended in a draw. :)

Well, I guess, I'll let my muse, or simply my inspiration, decide for me. I'll keep you posted and will try my best to keep the Events & Release Schedule section as up to date as possible.

In the meantime, I hope you'll be glad to hear that I'm overhauling my budget (a squeeze here and a pinch there) to allow for an editor.
Even though I love English, it's not my native tongue, and those of you who have read my book(s), know that there's the odd sentence here and there (especially in my debut novel Blue Moon Rising). It's only natural for typos and punctuation errors to remain as well until there's a critical and professional eye going through every line, sifting them out.
So, while I'm working on Facing Shadows and Ebony Fight I hope there will be time (read: money) to start this editorial renovation of mine. :)

One of those moments again...

...when you wished for pen and paper or just for your mind to be able to hold onto that brilliant scene or dialogue a bit longer...and suddenly it's gone.

Although I have a notebook on my nightstand, I've never really used it for what it was intended - to write down ideas that come to me while my mind wanders. Every time I wake up from a dream, utterly in knots and overlfowing with ideas that are vivid movies in my mind, those ideas become as slippery as an eel and elude me before I even have the chance to grab a pen.
It's rather frustrating, really.

The Emperor's Edge Series by Lindsay Buroker

Author friend Leanne Crabtree recommended this series to me and I have to say I'm sooo glad she did. I love this series.
Last night I had (once again) one of those just-one-more-chapter-moments and ended up staying up all night to finish book 3. And this morning I downloaded the next in the series.
Really, if you love a good adventure in an interesting fantasy world with a pinch of steampunk and lots of action - you shouldn't miss this!
